The earth is no longer alive. After a while, humans managed to kill the earth. Now, its starting to regrow. Few villages have been built and reproducing, but are at constant war. Thtese people have found ways to grow cattle, farm, build and even make weapons. The earth is nothing like it was before.
Robin LaRue is seemed to be innocent in the beginning, until she kills 4 of her own village. Confused and lost, shes seen as a criminal. She cant stay in her village any longer or they'd kill her. She leaves, but ends up in a place she had never imaged she'd be.
Robin blames the voices; the voices that don't stop. And won't.
