Honestly, I didn't really like vampires. I didn't believe in them either. I wasn't into all the twilight crap and sparkly vampires like most of the other female population. I didn't really know about them either, I knew they were blood-thirsty evil human-resembling abominations and that was plenty for me to not want to learn more. I wasn't into that. None of it, the horror,blood,gore,zombies, anything. I was that girl who liked her romance novels and sweet chick-flicks.  But I am a completely different person now. I believe in them. I know they're here, and I know what they're capable of. And from first-hand experience I know that they aren't at all like that Twilight bullshit. No fun and games. Blood and death. But they do have one thing in common with humans. They do feel. They are all different, but they all still have that one thing in the back of their mind - blood.All Rights Reserved

BOOK ONE: Having enough courage to run through the woods and away from the people who convinced me they were saving me was not how I believed I'd spend my day. Yet, there I went escaping from the only place I knew existed in the world. Being held captive was too much for me, especially when these people wouldn't tell me who they were or even who I was. I didn't expect anything normal but I didn't expect to be completly engulfed into the forest. I was led by an unknown presence that made me truly believe it was a living being, and in fact it is. I was innocent then, but now I know that anything can be hidden under a small platform in the woods with a secret bigger than the world itself. I was given life that day, until it all ended months later; the day I took my last breath.
