Shizu was raised by the family who owned the barn where her mother gave birth to her. The only thing the lady told them was the baby's name before she died, and the only thing she left her was a wooden locket that had been warped shut by sea water. When their daughter framed her for an irreversible act, that happened in the very same barn, they did not question it and simply sold her as a slave. The couple would come to regret it but that has little to do with the main story. She was taken to another continent where she was bought by a Lord's house and freed in exchange for three years of mandatory service. There she makes her first friend, the housekeeper/head maid. She first runs into her new master a few weeks after arriving, after which he reacts strangely to his blood-stained handkerchief he had used to stem the bleeding of a small cut on her hand. Then becomes close to his step daughter who lost her mother at a young age. She will discover friendships, love, blood ties and new obstacles.Tous Droits Réservés
