The American Economy
The contemporary assessment of the US economy by many observers offers the indications that the national economy is headed in the wrong direction. There are numerous issues that support this assertion as it follows a reliable assessment of how the situation is performing along with the diverse elements that inform the position. The assessment of the US economy towards the end of 2007 indicates that the population is aging with the main issue being that the baby boomers are nearing the retirement age. The early productivity growth that had been realized in the late 1990s along with the early 2000s indicates that it is slowing, with the same trend noticed in the area of globalization.
