   "What do you mean, Lodge?" I shook my head and looked into his cold orbs again.

   "You know what I mean, Jughead." He swallowed hard- nervously, and he was no longer smirking.

   In a failed attempt at answering me, he pushed me against the wall.

   Veronica Lodge was abandoned by her parents at a young age and was forced to live by herself. She yearned for a family and turned to the serpents. Although when the leader of the serpents, Fp, announces he has a son, Veronica's life unravels. Not only that, but his son is no other than Jughead Jones. No one except for Toni and Cheryl know the long ties Veronica and Jughead share. Jughead has changed Veronica, but maybe not for the better. She has a dark yet very vulnerable side, that only Jughead brings out. But there's a certain darkness that Jughead has- unlike any other. And even though it scares the shit out of Veronica, she's determined to know what it is.

This is a Barchie story will include fictional scenarios after the events that occurred in 5x08. I know the ending of this episode was so disappointing so I am here to try to mend broken hearts like mine. Here is the Barchie storyline that we all deserve. We've patiently waited for far too long and since the writers can't give us the content we barchies deserve, I'll try my best to give it to you all. (book written March 2021-Nov 2021) (p.s: I wrote this story right after the premiere of the 8th episode, so this story is very different from the second half of the season, since at the time I was developing this story, Riverdale was on a three month hiatus and season five did not end until October). •••••••• "Betty. He asked as I stared at him dumbfounded by his question. I did not expect this at all. "Wh-what?" I stuttered staring at him in shock. "Betty. I may not be an FBI agent but I know what PTSD looks like" He pointed and I unconsciously fisted my hands. "don't do that" He begged in a whisper while reaching for my hands to keep me from digging my nails into my skin. She is really shy and anxious but becomes quick friends with Archie, Veronica, toni, Kevin, and Cheryl. Jughead meets Betty and like rest of the school is head over heels for her. She is so pure and adorable that he wants her What happens when he cuffs her and tries to claim her from the rest of the school? ⚠️ spoiler kinda but it kinda tells the main plot line⚠️ And once things seem to be normal again, Jughead gets a not so friendly call threatening his girl.
