"Jughead," I started confidently. His smirk began to leave his face. "What the hell are you."

He was taken aback- I could tell. I could see sadness flash through his eyes.

"What do you mean, Lodge?" I shook my head and looked into his cold orbs again.

"You know what I mean, Jughead." He swallowed hard- nervously, and he was no longer smirking.

In a failed attempt at answering me, he pushed me against the wall.

Veronica Lodge was abandoned by her parents at a young age and was forced to live by herself. She yearned for a family and turned to the serpents. Although when the leader of the serpents, Fp, announces he has a son, Veronica's life unravels. Not only that, but his son is no other than Jughead Jones. No one except for Toni and Cheryl know the long ties Veronica and Jughead share. Jughead has changed Veronica, but maybe not for the better. She has a dark yet very vulnerable side, that only Jughead brings out. But there's a certain darkness that Jughead has- unlike any other. And even though it scares the shit out of Veronica, she's determined to know what it is.
