I, Theya Selena Arden, do not want a mate, and I sure as hell don't need one. But as per usual, I don't get a say in things.

War is silently raging in the werewolf packs and that isn't helping Theya: she is the sole daughter and heir to the Alpha of the Lykaestros Pack. Still, despite being the perfect person for the job, there's a few century old idjits in the Council who think she isn't fit as a female to rule. So she has to prove them wrong.

Enter Matthew O'Rourke. Ex-Alpha-to-be, currently trying not to kill everybody. When a nearby pack loses it's entire set of leaders after a rogue attack, he must prove to the Council that he deserves to become the new Alpha, or suffer a terrible fate worse than death.

Add some fangs and claws, some annoying siblings, a terrible betrayal and a bucket full of passion, and you get them together.

Will it work? Will they be able to find peace? Both inside and out? And what about love?

Isabella Montgomery’s life was far from normal. She was the princess of a small Kingdom and was next in line for Queen. When she turned sixteen, something happened to her that she could never imagine. She shifted. Shifted into what you may ask, well a werewolf. Her parents knew nothing about that and when she shifted, her parents wanted her to be sent to a priest, so he could ‘cure’ her. Along with that, her parents were arranging a marriage for her to a guy, Matthew, who was rude, intimidating, and abusive. She hated the guy with everything she had. Though, he claimed to love her, but in reality, he just wanted to be King. Isabella ran away, fearing the arranged marriage but also the fact that she was a werewolf now. She was trapped in the woods, trying to survive and make sense of everything. She ends up in America where she tries to find others like she. It works, but she is considered a rogue and everyone hates her and won’t accept her or answer any questions. Some try to hurt and kill her for being a rogue. She struggles to find the mystery of werewolves and how no one in her family was one, yet she was. Matthew is determined to find her and marry her so he can become King and will stop at nothing to find her. Along with being on the run from Matthew, she stumbles across an Alpha who takes a special interest in her. Will she finally get the answers she wants? Will Matthew find her and force her into marriage? Will Isabella be saved by the Alpha? Or will she fail at surviving on her own in a new country, with nothing but the dress on her back?

Book 2 in the Rootbridge Pack series. You DON'T need to have read book 1 in order to enjoy this. You'll find a plot summary for An Alpha's Alpha (Book 1) in Chapter 1. J, has been through a lot. A harrowing upbringing was followed by her and her pack being chased by a murderous alpha, Caine, who was intent on owning and destroying J's Alpha, Cassidy. Now, finally, after years of being on the run, J is...safe. She's always been on the outside, a lone wolf with just enough humanity left to attach herself to Cassidy and her pack, but now she's being offered a life in a loving, safe pack, with friends who are practically family. For anybody else it would be a good thing, a chance at happiness, but for J there's just one obstacle standing in her way: The King is dead, long live the King. She may have killed Caine, but his pack need an Alpha and right now, they think it's her. Realising the biggest threat to her pack is herself, J forces herself to leave and set out on her own. She should have known it would never be that easy. Whispers have travelled about Cassidy's protector. About the woman more wolf than most. * Alpha of the Blackoath pack, Logan Black, has been watching J for a while now. Sure, he tried to stop himself but his wolf is obsessed and so is he. Knowing he can never truly have her, he resigns himself to being her unofficial stalker, protector and guardian angel. So, when an underprepared alpha tries to capture her, he readies himself to go to her defence, but he should have known better. As he watches J destroy the pack who'd been sent to capture her, he realises that maybe, just maybe, he's found the only wolf in existence strong enough to match him. Strong enough to be his mate. Strong enough to kill him. However, when it comes down to it, Logan can't quite bring himself to ask the woman of his dreams to end his life, so instead lets her go - and that's where it all goes wrong.

Amy thought she had her whole life ahead of her, but that all changes on one eerily calm night. Amy's life gets flipped, turned upside down. With a broken heart, and new strength, Amy moves on and finds a new life. Until a certain Lycan shows up out of nowhere. Amy feels lost and confused, but angry too, at how this mysterious man can have an effect on her. Will she accept who he is, and will he accept her past? Only time will tell. * * * "Mine." The stranger spat through gritted teeth. Harry looked down at me with wide questioning eyes. I was confused, I opened my mouth to ask Harry what was going and who was this man but he beat me to it. "Amy?" He asked, his tone soft and gentle. The kind of tone you would use on a child when asking them if they had done something bad when you already know that they caused trouble. "Who is he?" I asked, my voice trembling. "It appears, that you're the mate of a lycan, princess." Harry informed. The man growled again. My eyes widened in surprise and I looked over at him. "Don't you feel the pull, princess?"
