This is our world, where kids at the age of thirteen begin fighting the dangers that face our world; they train and at the age of eighteen they will be put out into the real world. Schools were built everywhere, and kids were moved up based on their age. My world was a little different, my brother and I were trained ever since we could walk; we were put into battle once we reached seven years old. Being trapped inside one place most of your life is suffocating. So I took it upon myself to go behind my mother's back every chance I got to leave. I never thought that one day I would be caught. My mother agrees to let me go to school with the neighboring pack's alpha. She only agreed to prove to me that was a monster to other species. To her a Vampire demon should never be left unattended. She may be right most of the times. This time I think my mother could be wrong. Mother doubted me only to be proved wrong. I can coexist with wolves, I've been doing it for years. Now the humans. They are tempting for a hybrid like me. I can push past their tempting blood for 8 hours each day. The thing is I might not want to but I can. Life just keep throwing obstacles my way. Now I have a beloved. An extremely tempting beloved. My demon loves the taste of blood. How long before she gets a taste or our mates?

Growing up in hell has been completely normal to me, being surrounded by demon's and evil soul's is nothing, they don't scare me. But the day mom told me I will be I would be going to high school, now that scared me. I have managed to put her off til I turned seventeen, that was a few month's ago and school starts next week. I have no idea how to blend into their world. Sure I visit from time to time when I was younger but not lately. I have spent my time here, studying and learning to fight. Going up there means dealing with people's opinions of me and what I am. Don't get me wrong, I don't care what people think, what I'm scared of is losing my temper around bitchy girl's and guy's who are only after one thing. I'm just scared I will end up killing someone. But I guess I don't have a choice, I just hope their world is ready for a girl like me ......

As a last ditch attempt to stop the flow of undead he has spread his power through out the world. The power sought out humans and marked them with the Stigma of Death. But soon not even these warriors will be able to stand against the tides of darkness.
