Beads of sweat streamed down his face like little rivers. His shining blue eyes bit into the oppressive darkness as he concentrated all his might, power and energy on his task. His brow contorted with concentration as he blocked out the surrounding glade of trees. Sitting with his legs crossed on a outcropping bolder, he chanted an endless stream of ludicrous sounds read from a tatty old text sleeping on his cloak.

Hunger
Hunger. His stomach ached with pure hunger. His lips bled. His hands were nearly frozen shut by the freezing air around him. He couldn't move them if he tried. He could smell blood. Fresh circulating blood. The booze that had stained his breath had done little to numb the agony that tore at his lungs. The snow around him had reached his knees and its soaking-wet weight clung to his trousers like chains. His mind felt dreary, filled with a dull roar as he trenched closer and closer to the raw scent, closer to the pinprick of light that shone against the thick forest trees. It swam a little in front of him through tear-soaked eyes and he fought the urge to cough from his cotton-dry mouth. He licked at his cracked lips and continued to stumble through the snow. He couldn't feast, not tonight. But he could possibly find a distraction or two. A very delicious distraction.Concluída

„The sunset is beautiful, isn't it?", she asked, the sound of her voice strained, as if she hadn't been talking for a long time. The boy sat next to her, staring forward into the leaving sun. He didn't even look at the young woman when she spoke. Yet still he could feel himself, only a small part of himself, longing to hear more of her voice. It used to calm him down, singing soft lullabies whenever nightmares haunted him, or telling stories to him and his brother. It was the only comfort he could rely on. And he ended it before it could poison him. Silence filled the vast empty space. Only a single Rowan tree swayed in the non existent wind, its branches reaching down where the two figures sat, sheltering them from any harm that may come their way. It was time to leave this place again. He couldn't stay here for long. He hugged his knees tight, unconsciously swaying back and forth as he did so. Maybe, if he hugged himself hard enough, he could stay here and listen to one of her stories again? Just one short story. His efforts were in vain. He realized that when his hands and feet started to disappear, just like they have done thousands of times before. There was no way things could continue the way they were now. It was horrible, everything was in flames, everything was either destroyed or burned. The corpses of his father, his aunt and his uncle as well as those of his two cousins lied on the ground, lifeless. His lips shook as he wanted to ask for help, but from whom, there was no one else besides him in there. He looked up at the huge creatures that was staring down at him like if they were staring at their prey, maybe he was really their prey. He shook as he let the crystal sword fall down. " It's... Over..." He admitted it then. Although they tried desperately to fight those giant creatures that suddenly attacked them while holding on the smallest ray of hope, they couldn't defeat them. " It's over... Everyone is already dead... Everything is destroyed... We lost..." He kneeled down and accepted his fate. " If we just knew about this earlier..." And he was burned to ash by the flames of the huge lizards... ********** A dark and horrible future was await of them. Through the darkest moment of his dream, he heard a voice calling for help. He just knew he had to trust that voice, he had to. A new adventure starts as a new kingdom declares its existence. Is it a friend or a new foe? Moss stared at me, his eyes glowing a vibrant kind of green. He ran his hand through his brown hair and grinned at me. "Didn't I tell you to stay out my room?" He said while lazily walking over to me with a limp. "I'm sorry..uh- I'll leave now!" I get up and run to the door but with a blank of an eye he was in front of me. "Don't leave just yet..I'm hungry you know." He chuckled and placed his hand on my shoulder. It felt like a millon weights were on that one shoulder and I fell to the ground instantly. "No! Stop!" You died. I mean, it happened quite a bit during your lifetime. It wasn't anything different. However, instead of you waking up in the barracks again, you found yourself in a very odd place. A place where skin and fur were the same thing. "I hope I don't die too many times here." Losing Game
(TWs: gore, abuse, sexual abuse, cursing) Why does he still breathe? Why is he kept alive in this shadowed purgatory where time has no meaning, and screams are swallowed by the walls? His cell is a cage, his life a cruel experiment, and his mind a battlefield. Questions claw at him relentlessly: Who is he? What is he? Why does this torment exist? The walls bleed stories of others-lost souls whose cries still linger, haunting the air. His own voice has grown hoarse from endless screams, his body a canvas of scars, a map of suffering that tells no answers, only pain. Every day is a ritual of degradation, where faceless captors toy with his humanity, stripping him of it piece by agonizing piece. The only constant is the endless cycle of questions. Why him? Why the torture? What is their purpose? He clings to the faintest memories of a time before-fleeting images of warmth, love, a face he cannot quite recall. But even those are slipping away, devoured by the void growing inside him. In this relentless, suffocating darkness, where hope is a distant memory, only one question remains: When will the game end, and what will be left of him when it does?

Allen Walker(NOT FROM D-GRAYMAN), a 13 year old boy with a dream to become a warrior, just like his Father Argon Walker. And 4 childhood friends will gather together and reclaim what was once theirs. Wonderful tales about adventures and battles against the Empire of Gallamine... But this was not one of those heroic times. The messenger was a soldier of the King, bearing a Blue cloak with a Gold insignia of the King, The Mighty Blue Dragon, on his hands. Allen's mother covered her face with grief and ran inside the house. Allen wanted to cry, but he kept a brave face. His lower lip wouldn't stop trembling. As he extended his hands for the cloak, the messenger unveiled his hoodie and underneath was his Uncle Waller with tears and red nose. Allen ran and hugged him. Not letting him go, thinking he too would suddenly disappear. "Allen... Please take this inside." Said Waller, "I will come back when we have done the ceremony for his burial." Waller kneeled down with his arms extended, offering Allen his fathers cloak. "But... Uncle Waller. What-" I started crying, but kept a brave face. "I understand Uncle *Sniff* I will be brave for the family and Mom." I took the cloak from his hands, and something clicked inside my head. A voice came through to my head, more a whisper than a normal voice. Uncle Waller stood up and walked away. I embraced the cloak, my tears falling on it, as I remembered my fathers scent. "I don't know what happened... But I promise you this Father, I will find the person who did this to you, and make it pay for taking you away from our family". I swore with anger burning in my heart. "I must grow strong, just like Father, Uncle and Grandpa... I will become The strongest Warrior there ever was, you will see Father..." I walked back inside the house. "Allen... You have promise..." Said the whisper, "I will help you grow strong, and get Revenge..." Said the voice with sadness, "You are a very special Kid".Concluída
