Fourteen year old Allyson "Ally" Carlyle is the typical nerd who everyone just loves to hate at Carter Middle School, Doncaster. One day she receives a love letter from someone named Doncaster Boy, and that's when her life begins to change. Just as she surprises everyone bad news comes crashing: She's MOVING TO AMERICA.
After five years Ally comes back as a different person. Back in Doncaster, Ally is, she comes face-to-face with the one and only Louis Tomlinson, the boy who bullied her constantly in Carter High. Only this time he's famous now, being part of that British/Irish boy band, One Direction
She also receives letters again, from the boy she "fell in love" with five years ago.

There's the Athletic Boneheads, the Prissy and Posh Populars, the Badass Assholes, the Obnoxious Jokers who love to party, and then there are the typical Nerds. And then there are the people like me who are the Creative Artsy ones who are either musically inclined, are fancy with a brush, or enjoy breaking down on stage in front of hundreds of people. At least, this is what I used to think. After getting stuck in a class with one of the most hated and geeky boys in school, Harry Styles, I tried my best to get out while I could. But I was already on the highway to hell and it was one-way. I had no choice but to play nice.
