jeon jeongguk goes to daegu and spend his summer vacation looking after a small, rash, anti-social little boy named kim taehyung who doesn't trust anyone and would prefer being alone. his parents orders jeongguk to "civilize" taehyung until the end of summer. 

as the young man struggles in doing everything he can to help taehyung, their relationship gradually improves so far that when jeongguk graduated college, he planned on taking taehyung to seoul for them to live together.

unfortunately , an accident occurs that causes the death of jeongguk's parents , leaving him the only survivor. the accident causes him to lose his memories of that summer. but five years later, taehyung comes to seoul and claims jeongguk as his new "brother" .
