Within the small, close-knit town of Bluewood, located in the middle of the countryside, each and every inhabitant harbours some form of magical ability: Whether it be the ability to control the elements, talk to animals or teleportation, everyone has magic...well, everyone except Eve Mason. The town outcast. No-one knows if she will come to possess an ability or not. When the local high school decide to place the harboured and non-harboured students of the adjoining town in the same building, many see it as an opportunity to show off their abilities to one another and build bridges. For Mason, however, she just wants to get on with her school life, abilities or not. When she discovers that there is a dark force hiding amongst the student body, something inside her clicks: She is the only one who can stop it...regardless of whether she has abilities or not. Apologies if this runs a bit slow in your opinion. Also there is a reference to Umbreon from Pokémon so all rights reserved to Nintendo and the creators of Pokémon. I own the story barring the references to Umbreon.

Magic, monsters, mayhem ... and high school. What could go wrong? Everything! I'm a freak, but I've got the God-given sense to know to keep it a secret that I can use magic to lose some things and to find other things. As magic goes, it totally sucks, especially since I can't control it. I couldn't use it to find my brother and save him from a serial killer. So what good is it that I can lose a shoe and find a hubcap? Some people do think I'm extra special, though. I don't know how they found out about me, but the Stone Men and their Black Dogs are after me every chance they get. It's their job to keep magic a secret and make you think the world is normal. The Glass Man's out to get me, too. He's just out to make everybody his psycho slave. There's a war coming between Stone and Glass, and I'm right in the middle. But this war isn't just about hidden magic and humans. When you're a little kid, your parents tell you that there isn't any such thing as monsters. Well, they're lying. Some monsters want to offer you a deal, and some, well, some just might end up your best friend. Others, they just want to eat you. Right now, I'm dodging homework and things trying to turn me into lunch. I'm gonna find a way out of this war and save my friends... or die trying--
