In the winter, sophomores Sam and Piper were just classmates. They knew of each other, but never really officially met. They were mutual friends, who longed to meet each other.

In the spring, they were best friends. And much to Piper's dismay, they stayed that way. Piper was falling for him, fast and hard. Slightly an outsider, Sam was all the excitement Piper needed.

But in the summer, Piper's family was relocated to Colorado because of her father's job. In the summer, everything changed. Piper and Sam lost touch. They didn't text anymore. All was silent. At the end of the summer, Piper's father proposed to his girlfriend, and they moved back.

When Piper returns back to Riverside Hills, Ohio, she decides to change herself. She becomes the complete opposite of herself. But when she runs into Sam, she realizes that he has changed, too. And of course, persistent Piper is just what he needs to return to his old self.

As her last year of high school comes around, Shelby hears rumors spread that a new boy has come to town and goes to their school. Shelby is great at making new friends, so she plans on meeting the new boy at a coffee shop. She waits until a boy walks up to her, announcing he is the new kid. His eyes are icy blue, his skin is a little darker than Shelby's, and he has shaggy dark brown hair. He announces to her that his name is Alex and he comes from Boston, Massachusetts. Shelby is mesmerized at the cute boy, and she somehow makes through the day with a new friend. Later on, they start to get more and more friendly, until prom rolls around. All the girls woo over Alex. They flirt with him, get all quirky, and try to make him like them. Shelby is then angered by this, but lets them do what they want, but what she doesn't know is that Alex wants to take HER to prom. Two days before the prom, Alex asks her, and she says yes. On the night, Alex accidentally reveals a deep secret that he held on to for a couple of years. Will Shelby accept him for who he is, or will she turn him down and leave? Find out in 'Deep Secret.'

#1 in boyfriend (um what? Am I dreaming?) "Oh kid," he laughs and walks closer to me. He doesn't get close enough to stand between my legs, but his thighs still brush my shins. "Maybe you'll be able to pay better attention if you get used to this," he says, casting a small glance down to his exposed torso. I doubt it. Roman is Sadie's childhood crush. And the brother of her best friend, Naomi. For years she has hidden her feeling for him because you just aren't allowed to be in love with your best friend's brother. When they all come home for Thanksgiving break, Sadie and Naomi are transported back to their high school years of sleepovers, blanket forts, and exchanging secrets. But for Sadie, this means hiding her feelings for Naomi's brother just like she had for all of high school, but now that she's older and more mature, will her affections for him dissipate, or will she realize that there was no way she could ever hide her feelings from him or her best friend?
