Our eyes met, and my pulse soared. The world narrowed to a single, thrilling possibility. Each whispered word, every tender touch, pulled me under his spell. I was lost, and I knew it. The hug that changed everything became our sanctuary, our haven. Yet, shadows of doubt crept in, taunting me. Had I transformed the untouchable heartthrob or merely become a stepping stone? The question haunted me, a constant hum in the background of our intoxicating romance. Was our love a work of art or a fleeting masterpiece, destined to fade?"

We all have someone who is hidden in the bottom of our hearts. When we think of him, we will always feel a little pain inside, but still we can't forget about him. Have you ever felt overwhelmed by the number of sides to a story, the number of words to make up a description or even the number of thoughts needed to execute an idea? Have you ever had the fear of judgement, or been haunted by the thought of speaking your mind, yet still have the urge to sing at the top of your lungs? That's what writing feels like to me. I guess some things are just better left unsaid...

There are some things so horrible that we can't even think about it. Things that happen in the past. You bury them deep so no one will ever possibly be able to find it. You move on, make friends, find possible love. Then, everything you had ever feared or hidden comes back to haunt you all over again. Sorrow, love, anger, pain, and betrayal. What comes next? --- EDITING AUG 2019: This story has been five years in the making, and my skills as a writer and an editor have definitely improved. But hey, come along for the ride.

I saw his sad eyes and I noticed that he had a broken heart. He wasn't a heartless monster just like everyone claimed he was. If you look closer you'll see the past that he couldn't forget and the truth he couldn't accept. And if you didn't listen to what everyone said.
