Tasteless

An unsettling tale of two serial killers who face their demons through a winding path of trails, blood, and similarities.

The story follows Rema, a former battered wife who's beginning her own form of justice, and Frey, a homeless man with a mystery past and a "monster" in his head. The two are drawn together by a strange familiar feeling, and end up becoming the only people they can rely on.

This story contains some heavy and triggering topics, as well as topics that are very disturbing or upsetting. It's a story about serial killers, don't expect puppies and sunshine.

The main trigger warnings:
- Murder and Violence, Torture and Blood/Gore:
Duh. It's about serial killers. So there is a lot of murder and violence in this book. Some of it is references and subtle/vague descriptions. Other times it can be very detailed and intense.
- Rape and Sexual Abuse:
This subject is very present later on in the story, and if it triggers you, please don't read this book. The descriptions of the rape it's self is a bit vague, but violent and focuses on the emotions surrounding it. There is also a lot of reference to rape and sexual abuse.
- Mentions of domestic violence and child abuse:
Mostly referring to the past, in flash back scenes, or with secondary characters. These scenes and descriptions can be very intense and upsetting, especially if this kind of thing triggers you.
- Graphic descriptions of Self-harm:
Anyone who suffers with cutting or burning, and may be triggered by the topic, should probably avoid this book. There is very graphic scenes of self-harm, and it is very present throughout the book.
