The Empire has won the war, but at what cost? Europe rebels, Germania is forced to return to their borders, a new war is brewing, raised tensions in the François republic and the Russy Empire result in the continent smelling distinctly similarly to 30 odd years ago. She remembered the day, the boots on the cobbled street, the sound of the familiar knocking upon her door bearing only the word in silver, Argent. Tanya Von Degurechaff gave a grim smile. Life fucking sucked being the Devil Of The Rhine. Sure as hell wasn't going to stop her serving her fatherland. Before you read, this will be a story that contains disturbing content such as racism and racial purity. You have been warned, and I do not promote any of these ideas.

"You know it won't go to the West," he said dropping his voice. "Maybe you're wrong. Who knows," she shrugged. Her shoulders had slumped but she had managed to not let any tears spill. "Baum knew what he was doing when he made the West wicked, Mary," he hissed. "The East was wicked in that book too, dumbass," Mary retorted. Jacob's hands went into fists to keep from pushing at his hair. The tree behind them began to shake slightly. The ground gave a tiny rumble. *************************************************** Mary's father recently passed. But she is finding out it might not have been from natural causes... Family adversaries threaten everything while influential other worldly authorities pull the strings. Mary will have to work with an unlikely ally from her childhood to navigate their new found powers and reclaim balance. Meanwhile... one dark soul is climbing the ladder of chaos. Feel free to leave a message. I love comments! As the story progresses you might notice some subtle (and not so subtle) parallels to the Wizard of Oz. As I always advise my students- give it three chapters before setting it aside. Thanks for reading and enjoy! ☺️ This book is in a perpetual state of needing editing. I hope to return to the chapters to add some details. I'm hoping for a sequel as time allows. Oh, the life a middle school teacher... MORE TIME, I NEED MORE TIME. ‼️‼️Warning: Mild Language Please be advised.
