This is the story of our world, 2315, the world has changed from it as other people knew it, Europe got taken by America, and most part by England. All women's rights have been reinforced, without a men's concent they are not allowed to work like in old times. Only girls of rich families are allowed to visit academies, to learn how to behave once you are married, how to cook and how to serve for every man's need. One faithful day war breaks out between America and England. The troops are short on staff but women aren't allowed to serve. Martha chooses to go against the wishes of her family. She will spend the rest of her life taking care of her widowed Father as opposed to working and giving all her money to her younger female cousins to supplement their dowry. Fate and time has a different plan. Martha is drawn into a battle between The 19 and The Wild Roses. Two different factions each wanting to use and twist Martha for their own ambitions. Will Martha be able to bloom and change the world for the better or will she crushed? ....This story is a work in progress, it has themes and ideas that may change over time as the story develops and as I learn what you like and dislike about the novel. BOOK 2 After chaos destroyed, America fell into pandemonium and there was no communication with the U.S. After a pandemic crisis on the East coast, most civilization was abandoned near the Atlantic Ocean. After that, the world slowly began to fall to pieces and almost every country made a scramble to figure a way to make space travel easier so they could colonize a planet. But a new leader came out of the ashes and proclaimed they would consider the apocalypse a "rebirth" and proceeded (with his advanced engineering) to clear radioactivity from America and make it livable again. With the help of his crew, he builds a high security city and begins to build out past the east coast. Shortly after he rebuilds NY, he disappears and his advisor rises to power. He is a fair but cruel master (calling himself a Lord) and some people refuse to work for him. These people manage to escape the oppression of the Lord and live out on the wasteland that was once a great country. Some band together to make right communities and others rough it out by themselves, scavenging for a living.
