"If youre alive... then..."

At iwinasiwas ni Merzanelle ang palad niya sa mukha ni Zach at lumulusot lang ito

"Are you joking?!" Merzanelle shouted a little at nanghina ng kaunti at napaluhod nalang

"Why?... Why can't I touch you? Why can't I hold you? Tell me. Kung buhay ka... bakit ganito?" Merzanelle looked straight at Zach's eyes while still crying and trying to read what Zach is thinking but Zach just smiled at her. A sad smile.

"It's because I want you to live longer"

Kumunot ang noo ni Merzanelle

PUERTO DEL SOL SERIES 1. Days bled into weeks, weeks into months, and months into years. Silent nights began to fade, replaced by the promise of dawn. The once-calm ocean now hinted at looming rain, and soon, heavy drops began to fall. The birds, disoriented, seemed unsure where to seek shelter. But as quickly as it arrived, the downpour subsided, and the sky cleared. Raindrops dried, and the birdsong returned, filling every tree with a joyful chorus after the storm. Smiles bloomed on every face, radiating a genuine happiness. It makes you wonder, what is the real meaning of happiness? Why do we feel it? I know that I'm happy, I know I'm okay, but a sense of incompleteness lingers. Something is missing. I can't quite grasp it; thoughts and feelings bubble up in my mind, just beyond my reach. In the deep dusk, images hide in the shadows, too blurry to decipher. I can't quite make them out. Faces and figures carouse in my mind, constantly chasing me. Shouts and noises echo, repeatedly calling my name. I struggle against the cacophony that haunts my dreams. I see laughter, tears, smiles, and a myriad of emotions, but they are like faint raindrops in a vast ocean of thought. A woman smiles at me, as if trying to speak, but each time I draw near, she vanishes like smoke. I sink slowly into the darkness, facing a beautiful island. A name surfaces in my mind: 'Puerto Del Sol.' "Because deep down, I know that you'll find your way back. If destiny demands I wait to claim you, I will spend a lifetime in anticipation, just to have you near. Though the world may conspire against us, my heart forever chooses you."

∆ For centuries, I observed humanity from the shadows - detached, eternal, unwavering in my purpose. Every contract I fulfilled brought a sense of completion, reinforcing the essence of my existence. Life unfolded in a rhythm I had long accepted: steady, predictable, untouched by emotion. Until you appeared. Your presence shattered the stillness of my world like a sudden tremor beneath ancient stone. From the moment you stepped into my path, something shifted - light spilled into corners I'd forgotten existed, and with it, the vivid hues of forgotten feeling. You, with your quiet defiance and magnetic pull, unsettled something I had buried deep. In your presence, emotions long entombed stirred - wild, chaotic, alive. Like a storm breaking over calm waters, you roused in me a fire I didn't know still burned. My composure cracked. My certainty unraveled. Each encounter left an imprint. A spark. A mark I could not erase. Slowly, unknowingly, a bond formed - fragile, yet undeniable. And with each breath you took beside me, I felt something I hadn't in centuries: I felt alive. Not because of purpose. Not because of duty. But because of you. ∆ --- 🔴⚠️🔴 WARNING: 🖤This story contains mature themes including strong language, sexual content, death, religious references, and other sensitive material.
