Prompt: We are all Queens of our Kingdom I never understood why girls would want to be princesses. If it was to meet their 'prince charming', that is a total lost cause. If it was because of how Disney portrayed a life with a princess, adventure, conflicts resolved, an animal sidekick, amazing outfits, don't waste your time. Those happily ever after stories came from lives that had twisted endings and terrible fates. Just like in this story, a princess who couldn't be one because of her father's genetics. Well, that shouldn't stop her from being a princess, you might say, and your right. In the end, whether it is by death or birth, she would still be a princess...just not of the kingdom that betrayed her.
