"My life has never been one of much love. 

My world has been a full mess since the day I was born."  My words fall from my lips like stones being tossed into the river.

"S don't be like this. Don't let the world get you down. You are more important than anything they say otherwise." I feel her warm breath against my ear as she hugs me tight.
Her slim womenly fingers run through my white and gray hair.

"Lizzy your all I have left that I truly care for." I hold her as close as I possibly can. The sweet smell of lavender in her hair calms me. My callioused fingers find her braid. I release it from its band letting the long dark chocolate waves flow down her back over my arms.

"S what are you doing?" her soft voice reaches my ears. She tries to move her head to look up but I stop her. Holding her tighter I kiss the top of her head. 

"I want you to be carefree around me like when we were younger. No rules of society getting in the way. Let us be what we're ment to be." She looks up at me. A longing shows deep with the two toned blue of her eyes.

"Saber. What if we're seen!? I don't know if this is right or even OK." her voice  wavers and I see her eyes glow as they meet mine.

"Who cares." I laugh at her softly a smile rises on her face.

 "Were not Human Lizzy! It won't be like they can hold us or keep us confined. Our gifts alone are enough to have them running."  I see her wide smile form on her lips. 

" And I'll be damned if anyone will harm you ever again. I've kept my promise for over fifty years now and I'll keep it past fifty more" She touches my face looking me in the eyes. 

"S I know Ill always be safe with you!" she leans up and kisses my cheek softly then takes my hand running swiftly into the deans forest. I follow after her still in light shock.All Rights Reserved

That was why she locked herself in her room and no-one cared to bother seeing her as they treated her like trash. One did though, he was a handsome boy but a very ugly one at that, a traitorous monster you call. One day, as the little girl decided to exit her room, she found out he betrayed her for somebody's hand in marriage, someone that disliked the angel to the pit. Oh my. Poor little girl cried so much, that her rage and power took over. She had no use for her cute, gentle side anymore, and darkness clouded her mind. On the same day, she jumped out from the window. The end." Emiko smiled sickly before it turned into an obvious fake one that she purposely did. I stared at her with my eyes widened apart as I processed the whole story over and over again in my mind. I have a really sick feeling now. Not physically, but mentally. As if I've done something really wrong and feel guilty. "W-What do you mean, I don't remember this story? You never tell me things.." I said. She begun with a scoff and laughed manically. "One day..you'll know. When the time comes, get ready. Because I'll get back at you for the things you did to me. Ten times harder." She hissed before passing me and knocking me back with her shoulder.

He placed his hand on my face, and his fingers pierced into my skin, drawing out blood, I winced in pain. He brought his face close to mine. "You, I want you, Deva," Following that, he disappeared into thin air. My eyes flew open. My breathing was faster than usual. I had been dreaming. "It's him... Again" I whispered. "He's the one turning my dreams into nightmares." He's been doing this since the day I turned 15. I'm Deva Devona, a 20-year-old princess and the only daughter of Queen Devina. I grew up without the love of a mother. My Mother, Queen Devina, is a very powerful witch whose only worry is her kingdom. She's very powerful so she's feared by many including werewolves, vampires, and demons. Demons... Excluding the man who has been tormenting me in my dreams, even my mother fears him which means whoever he is, he's a mighty being. Little things I could gather of him told me he was indeed a very powerful person. The most powerful person in the world.

She....I....... I was running through the thick branches, pushing the leaves out of my way with all my might. I had to get away. The wet, brown, ground made it easier for me to slip and let her red, chilling hands slip around my innocent, scarred body, not knowing where she would take me next. I was almost out of breath, but I had to keep running if I wanted to make it out of this forest alive. My red dress was getting torn to shreds, and my hands and feet had mud all over them. My long, bushy brown hair was getting hooked on every possible branch, making me push my hair in the back of my dress, just like I used to when I was forced to cook everyday for my loathsome 'parents'. Returning back to the real world, I had to stop otherwise I would black out. I took a few seconds to catch my breath silently, and to look around to see if she was there behind me. I was looking up at the tall, old tree when I heard a twig snap behind me. Just like in the horror films. I turned and ran in the same direction, not daring to look back and see her wretched face fixed on my body. I sprinted and sprinted, but slowed down when I saw I was heading to nowhere but a ragged cliff. The unknown would me known if I continued to run and jump. I stopped two metres away from the cliff and looked down to see a valley so far down. If I jump..... I die. If I let her take me..... the unfair horribleness awaits me. I had no choice. I jumped.

' She's here...' I opened my eyes to see a very familiar girl wearing a blank white mask. "So this is what you choose in the end?" I ask staring at her waiting for a reply. A haunting giggle filled my ears. That wretched laugh fill with dark magic. I quickly block the noise to keep me focused on the task on hand. "After everything, you choose to betray everyone who ever care for you and walk in the path of evil." She stops her laughing and tilts her head in confusion. The insufferable laugh return but was getting louder by the second. I cover my ears trying to block the horrid laugh, but it was no use. The girl quickly took a folding fan. The colors once a bright and colorful are now tainted in black. She ran towards me to strike a blow as her white mask starts to form words. 'Me, betrayed you? How can I, when there was nothing to betray.' [Edit: This story is really bad and the secondhand embarrassment will be unbearable in the first part of the story. A ton of spelling and grammar mistakes. I barely turned 16 when I wrote this so I didn't know anything about writing since this was probably my first time actually wanting and caring enough to try. Probably gonna rewrite this later.]

"Cora..." I say with an annoyed tone. I throw her arms off my waist, and grab a hold of Claire's hand. She gives Claire a distasteful look then looks at me. "Couldn't you find a better date?" I walk to her, letting go of Claire's hand and I close the distance between Cora and I. I grab a hold of her arm and feel the bones crush underneath my hand. I feel Claire grab a hold of my arm, but I don't respond to her. "If you ever talk about my date like she isn't in the room, or even if you say what you said again, I will snap your neck. Now, run along." I say letting go of her arm. She gives me a look of hatred then scurries away. I find Claire's body with one of my hands and I feel her engulf me with her arms. "Please don't do that again." She says softly. A family of Vampires? Can they endure the craziness that follows the girl that they saved? Will the family be able to protect her, or will they be too late to save a girl that can change their life forever?
