Ship: Castiel/Dean

Notes: Grey wrote Dean's parts/Others
I wrote Cas's/Gabe's/Sam's/Mary's
throughout the story it's mostly PG13,
but there is a few love scenes, I'm rating it explicit.
This is the first Destiel fic I've ever written
(even with the help of my best friend,
it was extremely difficult and
I imagine there's many errors I will not spot.
It's almost completed,
I'll just be proof reading and fixing spelling
errors until we get up to that point.

SUMMARY:
In Summer of 1999, August 20th, A special boy was born on that day to the Novak's.
Castiel grew up healthy, until 5, where his family discovered he had a very rare skin condition and if not taken care of properly, it was fatal. His skin was as delicate as a butterfly, the sun brought on this disease as well as touch, it would tear and bleed, his clothes were the only thing that hid his bandages., but naked, he resembled a mummy. The Novaks lock him away in a sanitarium to insure proper care and his safety. Years and years pass, he never gets to leave, he was hidden from the world and all it's dangers. Cursed at the age of five, doomed to live in the shadows in the east wing.
.
Dean, the boy of Mary Winchester, who was a nurse. He was a troubled kid, even hung out in a gang and would cause mischief around, soon sneaks into the east wing late one night and comes face to face with the mummified boy, but what little he could see, sparked a curiosity in him. He's seen every patient wonder around here, but never him. This one was different. A boy his age, locked away?
.
Dean was so much more dangerous than the sun, and Castiel, deemed: a delegate butterfly. Dean visited him and helped Castiel get outside again, they became friends but the two realized as they grew up, it was deeper than just a friendship. This reckless
bad boy with a roughness edge who spent his life, crushing things for fun and the butterfly... were falling in love.

19 parts Complete Mature
Cover art by me IG: @dancing.with.the.devil.2023 Teacher!Dean Student!Cas highschool au Dean Winchester always wanted to teach high school english. Every since he was little he wrote stories about monsters and demons and angels to escape from the beatings of his drunk father, John. After he lands a job at his little brother Sams high school, he meets the one and only Castiel Novak. He can't help but notice his magnificent ocean blue eyes, and the way he tilts his head when he's confused about something, or his raven black sex hair. Dean couldn't help but feel an ache in his chest every time he sees him, but he had no clue why. Castiel Novak only had two years of school left before he could finally escape the hell that is Sioux Falls High School. Every since he moved here he's had a hard time making friends. After all, being gay wasn't a good thing to be at his school. He would constantly get mentally and emotionally abused by his classmates. Two more years, he kept telling himself, and then he would graduate and get a degree in fine arts. When the new English teacher, Mr. Winchester, shows up Castiel immediately takes interest. Maybe, it was his gorgeous Emerald green eyes, or his ashy blonde hair that was always spiked up perfectly. Whatever it was, Castiel knew he would like this new teacher. His Savior. *** WARNING ⚠️: This story contains little violence, mild language, and boyxboy love, meaning two males kissing and holding hands, including gay sex! If you are uncomfortable with any of these I suggest not reading so as you can remain mentally healthy (or if you're uncomfortable with gay people to just, not be uncomfortable I guess)!
The Mark on Us ( A Destiel Fanfic) by paige813
13 parts Complete
Ever since Dean Winchester got the Mark of Cain on his arm, his world has been turned upside down. His humanity is slowly dwindling away from his grasp and something entirely different takes a hold of him. Something foreign, monstrous even. He barely has control of his actions and every gut feeling inside of Dean is telling him to kill. In a tale that follows the story line of season 9 and 10, Dean must battle the demons taken residence inside him or be swallowed whole in the process. The only person, besides his brother, tethering himself to the ground would be Cas who won't seem to give up on Dean, no matter the acts he commits. The story of unlikely love. The Righteous Man. The Fallen Angel. And broken humanity. Only one will make it out alive. "I don't want to forget," Cas said, reaching over to grab his hand in his. "Then don't." He leaned in and placed his lips on top of Cas's, lingering in the state of things, wanting it to never end. This was timeless. This was forever. For every waking instant they were together, an eternity could fly by and merely feel like seconds. They say when you are at the verge of death, your life flashes before your very eyes but in this moment all he saw was Cas. His messy black hair that no matter the amount of brushing couldn't make it go down. His blue eyes that sparkled even if the sun was nowhere to be seen. His trenchcoat, red in some places, brown in others but still seemed to smell of his musk. All of it was him. He was his life."
