Remnant, a beautiful world with flora and fauna to rival that of the greatest natural beauties a living being can find... or was, at least. Now, taken by a mysterious force that is known as the 'Combine Empire' has taken over the planet one year before the birth of a girl that will one day change the world. Her generation would be the first to enter an age of oppression, of judgement and discrimination, far more extreme than it was before the occupation. The first to enter an age where the natural beauties of Anima start to wither, where industrialization is spreading to the far reaches of Remnant, and where there are little to no creatures known as Grimm left.
This is the story of many peoples, some longing for freedom, whilst others seeking to keep the status quo. Welcome... to Remnant.

The only thing both humans and the faunus know, is that they are evil incarnate, and must be destroyed. Amongst this conflict between humans and monsters there stands you. You are a hybrid, part Grimm and part Human. Hated by both. For as long as you lived you have had to survive against the efforts of man and monster trying to kill you. Despite their constant hatred and slander they do not determine your actions, you do. Will you succumb to the evil within and embrace your wicked nature? Or rise above it and prove you can be something else?

Long before Alpha City lit the night with neon and newsfeeds, the world changed in a single generation. Historians call it the Merge-a sudden convergence of dimensions that pulled entire lands and peoples from distant realities onto one enlarged Earth. Nations rebuilt borders overnight. Heroes from every world formed a new covenant to keep order and share knowledge. At the heart of it stood Union Academy, a sprawling citadel in Alpha City where young defenders of every race and power trained side by side. To many, it was proof that coexistence could work. But for the Revenants, the promise of unity never truly reached their doors. Older than any single world, Revenants were beings born from the deepest tempests and forgotten legends-half myth, half flesh. In ancient times they had defended wild frontiers and remote villages. Yet as humanity's fear hardened into policy, the Revenants were hunted, branded, and driven into exile. To most people, "Revenant" still meant monster. Even after the Merge, the old hatred persisted. News feeds blamed them for unexplained attacks. Cities posted hidden bans. Hunters roamed in silence. And every act of violence, no matter how isolated, became proof that the entire race was dangerous. What happened to you is that you were born as a bizarre pile of biomass created by nature's natural selection. When some humans made contact with you years later, you immediately infected and possessed one of them and began to evolve rapidly. It was then you developed a personality and can think like an intelligent species. All before being captured, experimented on, and then escaping not long after. Luckily for the world, you aren't super bloodthirsty or a complete psychopath. Your personality is that of someone humble and wanting peace. Just like how mother nature is and must be respected as so. Speaking of the world, you figure out that the world you reside in now is called Remnant. Compared to the laboratory below, the outside world is much worse with the Grimm and humans fighting each other. But it is also the world where you will actually find your place in these harsh lands of savage beasts and advanced weaponry. Along with those whom you will reside alongside with. And if anyone wishes to take them from you, they will know the color of death from within. You are the monster. You are the parasite. You are... Carrion This is your story.
