Remnant, a beautiful world with flora and fauna to rival that of the greatest natural beauties a living being can find... or was, at least. Now, taken by a mysterious force that is known as the 'Combine Empire' has taken over the planet one year before the birth of a girl that will one day change the world. Her generation would be the first to enter an age of oppression, of judgement and discrimination, far more extreme than it was before the occupation. The first to enter an age where the natural beauties of Anima start to wither, where industrialization is spreading to the far reaches of Remnant, and where there are little to no creatures known as Grimm left.

This is the story of many peoples, some longing for freedom, whilst others seeking to keep the status quo. Welcome... to Remnant.

Although it seemed like a happy ending as you were granted with one wish of any kind, you realized that justice, hope, and peace were forever gone. Justice had not been served and the hope of everyone making it out alive had slipped away. You did what you thought was right, and that was wishing for everything to be back to normal in Japan. No more monsters. No Mirror World. Japan was back to its normality. The Kamen Riders that you faced during the war had all been resurrected and returned to their lives. Their memories of Kamen Riders and you had been erased. Everything and everyone went back to normalcy. There was nothing else left for you in Japan, and so you decided to travel around the world. You took all of your belongings with you and left the past behind. You chose Vale, the eastern end of the newly found continent named Sanus, and began your journey. All you knew about the kingdom was that it was filled with an arsenal of airships and weapons along with technological innovations that were far more advanced than your homeland. But what you didn't know is that you were being welcomed into another world of bloody evolutions.

This may be the first fanfic that's about the monster from the reverse-horror game called Carrion! Let's see how it goes! All art, videos, music, etc. belong to their original owners. Also, I won't be using anything the game trailers showed us. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After butchering and consuming everyone in that underground laboratory and escaping under the guise of a human, you went into hiding in society. Switching between appearances to stay hidden along with eating people that no one would miss, especially criminals. You'd sometimes eat some grimm too. What happened to you is that you were born as a bizarre pile of biomass created by nature's natural selection. When some humans made contact with you years later, you immediately infected and possessed one of them and began to evolve rapidly. It was then you developed a personality and can think like an intelligent species. All before being captured, experimented on, and then escaping not long after. Luckily for the world, you aren't super bloodthirsty or a complete psychopath. Your personality is that of someone humble and wanting peace. Just like how mother nature is and must be respected as so. Speaking of the world, you figure out that the world you reside in now is called Remnant. Compared to the laboratory below, the outside world is much worse with the Grimm and humans fighting each other. But it is also the world where you will actually find your place in these harsh lands of savage beasts and advanced weaponry. Along with those whom you will reside alongside with. And if anyone wishes to take them from you, they will know the color of death from within. You are the monster. You are the parasite. You are... Carrion This is your story.
