Mai. A species of people with lion-like qualities. A species created by the Twin Goddesses, Bast and Sekhmet, they were cursed five thousand and 200 years ago. A Mai can never love a human. A Mai's spit, kiss, blood, uh.... sexual fluids.... they'll kill a human. 200 years ago, that cures was lifted. [inspired by Nine Lives Of Chloe King] [WARNING!! I feel extremely strongly about reading books before watching their tv shows/movies, and there's some rather rude language about people who do that in the beginning.
