Mai.  A species of people with lion-like qualities.  A species created by the Twin Goddesses, Bast and Sekhmet, they were cursed five thousand and 200 years ago.  A Mai can never love a human.  A Mai's spit, kiss, blood, uh.... sexual fluids.... they'll kill a human.  200 years ago, that cures was lifted.
