Selisa, a Saiyan herself was missioned to earth to destroy but had  turned her life around instead of conquering and destroying planets she went all across the galaxy  helping other planets fight for their rights while looking for her long lost friend kakarot.
She lost hope until one night she ran away from her family and walking in the woods she saw two guys fighting well more like training shooting ki blasts at each other.

Failed as a prince for he didn't succeed in extracting his revenge on Frieza. His pride was hurt and his frustration rang a bell constantly through his ears. He needed to surpass the said Kakarot if he wished to regain control of his destiny and most importantly of his revenge. There was no other option than to defeat the one who defeated his ultimate enemy and to make his ancestors proud. He needed to train harder so as to achieve the legendary transformation of his race and beat Kakarot and obtain his satisfaction. This was his ultimate goal. The only reason that kept him alive; his pride as a royalty of saiyajin. When he was offered an opportunity to live with the genius family of a certain woman who had help create a bizarre machine that would enhance the capabilities of a saiyan through gravity, he seized the occasion to progress deeper in his training and once he was done, he'll beat Kakarot and rule the world. Of course, he knew no one on earth liked him. But it didn't matter.

As a young teenager, Prince Vegeta inquires about Kakarot and is sent to track him down and retrieve, or kill, him. But Vegeta underestimated the strength of earth's defenders, forcing him to make two trips of it. Frieza planned on destroying the Saiyans anyways, and because Vegeta was taking so long, Frieza sent the Ginyu Force after him. After the confrontations on earth Vegeta returns home, knowing full well that Frieza is there waiting for him; to kill him. But Frieza was unaware that Vegeta had fulfilled his destiny by becoming a super saiyan.
