I've spent my entire life never knowing who my parents were and not knowing why I was left abandoned in an alleyway as a baby. When you can see the bad guys coming and can taste the lies coming out of their mouth, you tend to make a few enemies; but I wasn't going to be victim any longer just because people didn't like what I knew or how I looked. Needless to say, I barely graduated high school without being expelled for fighting.
When I received a mysterious letter with no return address and a one way ticket out of this shitty town, I took it and ran like hell. Now I'm at some school with creatures that I thought only existed in fairy-tales and steamy romance novels. I have a centaur for a teacher, a sexy dragon-shifter as a mentor and a room mate with antlers that thinks vines are clothes. And did I mention that I'm half Fae? Yup, turns out I'm bad ass for a reason other than my skills with a knife.

How can I survive learning about these things daily for my whole life?! But, the thing is I won't be learning about them to just...learn. I will be finding out about these creatures because...I am one. New friendships brew while enemies start to boil. Some friends become more than friends. Then some turn on her. She's different. The Contract
Something didn't feel right. I looked around my room slowly; cautiously; taking everything in and trying not to feel too nervous. Perhaps Lure was in my room right now, watching me, silently laughing to himself. I didn't doubt it. I slipped off my bed and walked around, hugging my waist, and tilted my head. I felt my rough ponytail slide against the back of my neck and over my shoulder as I moved. "Lure?" I hissed, "Lure, are you there?" I wandered around a little, for some reason feeling scared. But why? It was only Lure. He wouldn't hurt me, would he? "Okay, Lure. Quit it. I know it's you. Who else would it-" I stopped, startled, when I heard a strange sound that made me cringe. It was like fingernails being dragged across a chalkboard. I whipped around and came face-to-face with my mirror. Immediately, I saw the difference. Various scratches were displayed across the glass, forming words. It looked as if claws had written the words in the mirror. "Deepest apologies, but it was fun." The Unordinary
Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. The Assailants
It was one of the cold freezing nights of January when the Arcane's assasins attacked. I failed to protect the family I was in charge to keep safe but I was able to save the most precious thing the family possessed, Jessy. I took her away racing with the icy wind and dark mountains with no food or anything in our pockets except my cellular phone. I couldn't trust anyone including the Barblood Secret Service, the place where future assasins are made, where my family raised me and my adopted siblings, and lastly, the enemies of Arcane. Why? My absence will force Catherine, Edward and Jhersy to search for me and they won't let the Barblood family to stop them but join them. What's so important between me, my siblings and the Barblood family? I can feel a connection that I couldn't explain. In my return, a lot of things will be revealed. A lot of dark pasts uncovered and mysteries to be solved. I am confused by the truths that has been hidden about me, my adopted brother and sister and the death of my parents. If you have any questions regarding that please don't hesitate to message me. When you're a loser and friendless nerd you stick to what you're supposed to do. You get good grades, deal with the bullying and attempt to forget the past. But there are things an everyday nerd, such as myself should clearly not do. One: Don't crush on the most popular girl in school. Two: Be sure not to get sidetracked in your studies by including yourself in electives and such. Three: Don't get superpowers. Now what to do when, possibly, you might have done all the following listed above? This wasn't like a test where I just knew the answer. So you can imagine how long it took me to come up with the realization of what I should become. Or in other words, who I should become!
