The party was quite nice. The school year had just started. But there was too much alcohol, too many problems, and a unfortunate accident that would kill 5 kids, leaving many in grief. I always believed that my group of friends were resilient enough to withstand anything. But then that day happened and I watched it helplessly crumble. I wasn't aware it had to crumble to build itself back up again. It was a painful process But I learned so much, I overcame so much.
