Privateer Tristan Ashton has one goal. Plunder  'The Rose's thorns' and capture captain Harris Kendrick. Dead set on his goal, he has worked for months attempting to capture this crew of scoundrels. Setting up the perfect trap for the pirate ship, finally he has a battle with the fierce Crew of pirates. However, in doing so, he finds out about the 'Rose's Thorns' biggest secret. 

Captain Harris Kendrick is a woman, and she isn't going to give him an easy trip to the gallows. 

Meanwhile, Tristan's first mate is stirring up trouble in the Atlantic.

After witnessing the great tragedy of death outside the windows of her temporary prison the pirates discover her and one of then take a liking to her unremarkable beauty. Taken abroad his ship she must survive the pirates and keep the captain away from her. This is a short story! it may be edited from time to time though.
