Anger, Hate, and Fear. These are the things that darken the soul. These are the sole emotions that have the ability to shadow over the rest. Either stealthfully chipping away at us, or aggressively attacking us until we feel nothing but despair. The creatures that lurk in the shadows use these feelings in every human as fuel. Forcefully scyphening away the remaining light in one's soul. Like a Blight on humanity. The "Blight" are huge shadow shrouded beast like figures. They take many forms, yet all bare the Demons Sidgel. The image of a blood red creature of the darkness branded on their body.

District Zero is a vastly wide spread city in which shadows lurk around every corner. Zero Rajimori was an introverted 14 year old experiment turned mercenary/spy. After escaping he began to take odd jobs doing what he was best at. Taking apart people with the abilities he was gifted with from birth. Now 4 years later and on payroll for a man who simply calls himself Dizo. But when he runs into a young 17 year old girl by the name of Nina, and is told to eliminate her, he decides that maybe it is time for a career change. Specifically, being the body guard to a girl who could potentially wipe out all Blight on the planet. So he'll put his mind and body to the test and unleash his "Lightning Black" technique to do so. But what awaits him down his chosen path?
