All parents somehow will always find a way to damage their children. It can't be helped. Youth, like the fragilest glass, always obtain marks from it's handlers. Sometimes it's a small crack, or chip, or sometimes they can be shattered completely. Only a few pieces rain from their childhood, never able to be repaired. Memories can take form of these pieces, they are either smooth and cool to the touch, or jagged, and draw blood. Ethan could recount each jagged memory, all pieces of what his father made him do. But what would happen tomorrow would be the worst of them all. Tomorrow he would have to execute an innocent person in front of his future kingdom. .
