The early branches of Christianity gave birth to far-fetched and incredibly intense cults and sects that would seem crazy by today's standards. Before the Luciferians there were the Orphites and Marcionites, cults that romanticized figures within the Bible and even warped the text to match their own warped beliefs. These poems are inspired by these groups.

They said heaven was the right kind of crowded, and dusty, and soft. They said it would smell of roses and clouds, they said it would melt every part of my body into one. They called heaven beautiful, they called it enough. They said the glass in heaven's windows would be thick, coloured, and like a lens through which you saw the world. They said I would be a being of light, they called the writings we were to make beautiful. The people that said this spent millennia trying to chase the feeling of sweet tenderness, but they chased it in things that were never meant to be more than sculptures and scriptures. I vowed to do whatever it takes to bring you back, but I must look beyond. This is a story into the dxd verse but ties in from a planned ending from my other story I was working on before, but lost motivation.

Waking up in the body of a Romani Archiman is acceptable. Getting 3rd and 1st True Magics is nice. Getting Beasts as pets - delightful. The world of DxD is unforgivable. It's a world where some teenagers who aren't even two decades old somehow mystically defeat the descendants of legendary heroes, ancient demons, powerful dragons, etc. Why does this happen? Simply because! Simply put, this world only makes sense because it doesn't. And now, I have to put up with the fact that I live here. Such pain. (DxDxMulti)
