Tanay Mehra is the heir to his family business conglomerate. Having grown up in a situation that groomed him to take over the giant when he was of age, there were few complaints he had in life.

However, the world knows of him as a hot-tempered man due to instances in the past when he reacted explosively against people who genuinely wronged others but pretended to be innocent. Like the time he publicly brought to light the scam going on in a competitor's firm at a press conference. And the time when together with his best friend, signed a petition to have a racist professor removed from his post at his university abroad. Not to mention all the drama being the CEO of a business conglomerate entails.

With loving parents who always prioritise his happiness over business gains and needs, Tanay is nothing but a gentleman, who has never felt the need for a companion romantically. If anything, he is used to taking relationships as nothing but a source of entertainment. For Tanay, friends are all there need to be and anything more, is a waste of time - a chance to be vulnerable to someone and more than anything, a chance to be hurt in the worst possible way.
