This is for TFiOS. A short story inspired by the book.
I hope John Green reads it someday.
Peacock is a brunette braider. Mostly she scribbles, looks around and leaves a note. A flightless bird searching for wings. She is reading her late Grandmother's diary.
Flick is a curious boy with curious blue eyes. He looks at the girl on the bench scribbling something and gets curious. He likes to flick a smile.
Together Peacock and Flick go through the pages of an old blue notebook and fall in love along the edge of word and relive the lives of those they read about.
Its more than just a love story, it's more about how the world has the same pace, the same casualties, the same white roses, the same curious minds, the same heartbeat accelerating adventures even when time is not the same. It's more about how people can be so much same without even being same. It's love a little backwards and love a little forward. It's less than a love story and more a self discovery coming of age short story.
MY NOTE: steal it, i'll burn down your house and build a library. No kidding. If it wasn't illegal.

Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story. I hope you'll like it. :D This story will be rarely updated, since I'm busy with school and stuff. He looks across the street and sees a blue-eyed boy with dirty blonde hair opening the flower shop, and something within him stirs. Deimos Alexander, a hyper ADHD 20-year-old, was shocked when he realized that a new business had opened up across the street. He looked in the window and saw (In his best friend's words) an "Emo in the wild" tattooing someone. He makes a bouquet for him and places it on his porch step. He almost dropped his coffee the following day when he saw an oil pastel drawing on his welcome mat from the tattoo artist. Trigger Warning: While this book is a majority fluff there are a few angsty bits that face some grim topics including child abuse, dangerous parents, alcohol abuse, homophobia, transphobia, and harassment. This story includes quite a bit of swearing as well (blame my trucker dad for that) so viewer discretion is advised. No Smut whatsoever in this book.
