"There were no more districts. No Capitol, no Hunger Games, no more blood baths. Of course there was still crime here and there, since the Capitol wasn't too fond of the new change of life, but if you asked me, anything was better than the games. The old way of life took almost everything from me. It took my father, forcing him to be a coal miner, when I know he had the potential to do anything he wanted in life. It took my sweet, sweet little sister, who did not deserve what she got. It took my best friend, Gale. Not physically, he was still alive, but I would never talk to him again. Because that previous way of life, it manipulated his mind, made him blind. He was responsible for the death of Prim. It took my mother's will to live. She still did, she carried on, but you can see the pain in her eyes. I think she only goes on for me, so I don't lose everyone. In fact, the previous way of life took everyone from me. Except for Peeta."

"We're here. We're finally here." I say as I drop the bags on the floor and look up at him. He leans forward and carefully puts his lips to mine. I close my eyes and start to feel the butterflies begin to flutter. I pull away and look down at my feet. "Come on Katniss, it's just a little kiss." He says as he gently grabs my waist and pulls me in. I lie my head on his chest and I smile. He places his chin on my head and we stand there in silence taking in each other's embrace. "Peeta. Stay with me?" "Always."
