People were getting sick and dying everywhere, but they didn't stay dead long. They came back as zombies. Veronica lost both her parents but she wasn't alone she still had her 8 year old brother Noah. And she was willing to do whatever it took to keep Noah alive.

After inhaling the smoke, they've lost their consciousness for about two weeks and woke up founding out that their fellow schoolmates were gone. The class of Grade 10 Gethsemane were the only people in the whole campus left alive which confused them so much. Eventually, they believe and concluded that apocalypse is really happening. So they stick together to plan something out from the most feared zombie apocalypse. Society is crumbling. Zombie apocalypse is happening.
