Sherlock's Sister

Emily Holmes was born after a boy and before another. Her parents, of course, never wanted a girl but they were too weak to abort her. When she was born, Emily was sent to a foster home in America where she went from family to family until the age of fourteen. When she's adopted by the man, there is so much in store for her including his death when she's 28 years old. Determined to find her biological family, she sets out on an adventure to England to find the famous private detective Sherlock Holmes and his friend John Watson. She knows about her connection to the high-functioning sociopath, of course. But, on the way, she will find mystery and adventure and see a bit of romance between the two boys that they refuse to see.
