Its about a Deputy named Bright storm and he suffers through sadness and pain but he had a dream as a kit about being dark clan's place. As a apprentice he dreamed about a large black tom named crooked star, Crooked star killed crow paw and murdered his father bear claw for no reason. His best friend spider patch died of trying to get revenge on the former kitty pet, Raven but instead of doing so she slipped off of a log and drowned. So bright storm suffered more but daisy tail, sun stone's sister blames bright storm for her brother's death. Bright storm takes the blame but raven the former kitty pet had 4 kits but 1 was still born, the other 3 kits survived but the daughter sun kit became sunny by leaving the clan saying clan life is not her type. Wolf kit and tall kit felt angered by this but tall kit relaxed and respected that but wolf kit did not.
