That was the first word Robin thought of when her eyes met the pale crystal blue eyes of Sirius Orion Black. In her eleven-year-old mind, she could not understand how a boy could have such pretty eyes. It made her feel like her weird turquoise eyes were obsolete by comparison. Being in front of this boy made her self-conscious.

Robin met Sirius in Diagon Ally, at the ice cream shop. Now, she has never believed it was a fated meeting. She just knew she was going to have a new friend. She had hoped it would have lasted through Hogwarts, but that thought left her the moment Sirius stopped being friends. She supposed it was before he downright said it, possibly when she was made a Slytherin.

Through the years, Robin kept her eyes on the older Black boy, at first angry but then sad. She didn't understand why he left her at first but she began to understand when she became friends with the younger Black, Regulus. Sirius was the white sheep of the Black family. Walburga was not a good mother to either of her sons but she was harder on Sirius for his views on things. Walburga took the family motto "Always Pure" to being only pureblood Slytherin. Orion didn't stop Walburga but he didn't abuse his sons as she did.

Robin Gryphem was born of a Gryphem (A Bulgarian originating Pureblood) and a Prewett, feels she has had a simple life so far, even with all the instances in Hogwarts. Now, in her fifth year and things are beginning to get weird. First, she finds out her boyfriend lies to her, then she finds out her ex-best friend actually wants to be friends again, and what was that about needing to help? She doesn't know why or how but she hopes that this year can get better.
