I look at his limp body on the hospital bed. Then his eyes flutter open slowly and he looks straight at me.
"Promise me something?" I manage to say with tears rushing down my cheeks.
"Promise you what?" He says confused.
"Promise me that you'll never leave me, that you'll keep me safe and close to you forever. That you love me unconditonally and that you can't live with out me, because i want to know that im not the only one who feels this way."
"I promise." He whispers in my ear.

"Shhh, it's alright. I don't know how it will all work out, but we will be together, forever. I promise," he assured me, pressing a kiss to my temple. I sniffled and wiped my eyes as I looked up at Evan. He was watching me with concerned, loving eyes and for some unknown reason that look only made me start crying again. This time however I was happy. I screwed up. I mean, really screwed up. I don't remember a time where I haven't screwed up, but this feels like I've gone past the point of no return. I've always thought that people wouldn't care.
