When Thor finds Loki broken and dying on Nidavellir he decided to bring him home to Asgard to take care of him. Despite the fact that Loki is a wanted criminal. Loki has reigned terror across the nine realms, but Thor holds onto the hope that his brother might still be redeemable. Thor will do anything and everything to bring Loki home, even if everyone else (including Loki himself) would rather see Loki executed for his crimes
