12 poems of love, essentially reflecting an entire year through verse. The poems may not explicitly be about love, or may not completely be about love, but the theme runs through all of them. In terms of purpose, I wrote them all about a specific person but also work as my attempt at universalizing the experiences to some degree. The poems dwell on the conflicts between the ideal and material, man and woman, love and the self, as well as the notions of how to define love. Harsh criticisms regarding my diction, rhythm, content, style, anything at all are appreciated and welcomed. I'm posting these here to try and improve my work through interaction, as well as publish my own conceptions on love in verse.
