The rules that say maids must obey, that reading is illegal and that alchemy is forbidden. She's been taught to never question them, because the Nobles know best, don't they? But as time goes on, everything Arabella thought she knew begins to unravel. The very world she's been taught to believe in crumbles before her eyes. Capturing the heart of the prince wasn't something she intended to do. In fact, with time, she doesn't even know if it's what-or 𝙬𝙝𝙤𝙢-she truly wants When a stranger from beyond the castle walls stumbles into her life, nothing is ever the same again. His presence stirs something deep within her, something she's never felt before. The rules that once haunted her in the wake? They no longer seem unbreakable.
