In my own lifetime I was bestowed with gifts. These gifts made me all powerful, a force to be reckoned with. But with this I attracted attention, a lonesome human too powerful for her own good. I was put to an end. Killed on sight. Some humans even tell my story now... what they don't know is that I came back. I was born to be a vampire. I don't even know how I did it... But making friends is a good skill to have. Over the years I've been hiding in plain sight. I've changed over the years, no one is old enough to remember me properly anyway. But I don't plan on leaving easily, that's for sure. It was going well, it has been for years. Well that is until an ignorant mongrel got in the way. But his wolf is older than he knows...

(Currently being rewritten under a new name The Claimed) Everything changed when they came out of hiding, terror spread across the world as people began to question if our presidents and our global leaders lied to us and weren't from the same race. The Beasts blended in amongst us as if we were the same, except humans didn't have the same predatory instincts and we couldn't change our forms like they could. Soon after we learnt that we weren't the only species people began going missing. When the light cleared the animals' eyes, were narrowed into slits, and it was growling. It was a deep menacing sound that sent her stumbling backward, heart wildly beating. It bared fangs the size of her hand alone dipping its head. Had her touch angered the animal into finally attacking her? She kept moving backward in the rain, slipping in her converses as the creature continued growling. It was then she knew she was prepared to run, no matter what happened.
