Titania is a character in William Shakespeare's play A Midsummer Night's Dream. In the play, she is the queen of the fairies. Due to Shakespeare's influence, later fiction has often used the name "Titania" for fairy queen characters. I decided that I wanted to do a monologue of her for my school assignment. A STORY BASED ON A MIDSUMMER'S NIGHT DREAM BY SHAKESPEARE Demetrius and Lysander both want Hermia but she only has eyes for Lysander. Bad news is, Hermia's father wants Demetrius for a son-in-law. On the outside is Helena, whose unreturned love burns hot for Demetrius. Hermia and Lysander plan to flee from the city under cover of darkness but are pursued by an enraged Demetrius (who is himself pursued by an enraptured Helena). In the forest, unbeknownst to the mortals, Oberon and Titania (King and Queen of the faeries) are having a spat over a servant boy. She was sucked inside the novel called 'The crimson Hero of the West', and became a sad excuse of a cannon fodder who was destined to be killed by the male lead. But little did she know that her fate would literally topple upside down when one fine day, she stumbled upon an old key while cleaning the dusty attic of the magic tower.
