Ok so I said I was gonna do this not to long ago SO HERE YOU GO!!!
A few years back... Lance claimed his own life in a painful way. The Galra took him as a prisoner and sent him back to the castle after a few painful weeks as he clung to life by a piece of cotton. Keith was the first to see Lance and, in his panic, turned himself Galra. Keith was the first person Lance saw as well. But when he came out from the healing pod, he wasn't the same. He stopped telling stupid jokes, stopped talking all the time, become less and less seen outside of his room before he wasn't found at all. Allura checked the castles systems and they had recorded someone opening the air locks. They went out to see what happened and saw Lance's jacket in the air lock.
They wished they all never looked out into the empty-ness of space and saw Lance floating out there, blood, scars and tears covering him. They were all never the same, not even the lions could cope.

When the anniversary of Allura's passing came around he decided that was the best time to reconnect but who would've thought that the stars refused to align when Keith was found injured and unconscious with a beautiful stranger by his side. Will Lance ever find out if Keith still fancies him like before? Why was Keith injured and who is this stranger who won't leave his side? (I know this fandom is long gone but I rewatched Voltron several weeks ago before they removed it off Netflix. I forgot how much I loved it and how we were deprived of Keith and Lance ever being together so I decided to create this story. Of all times, this is one of the worst ones to grow claws and get purple fingers. Especially when Shiro is still high on adrenaline and the rest of the team is elsewhere in the castle.
