The five greatest demon have risen and are taking control, harvesting the souls of supernatural creatures and altering them to their demon minions. According to the prophecy, one from each clan must rise, even from the demon clan.

                                    *                             *                             *

"You know no one likes you."

She rolled her eyes. Of course she knew no one liked her, they made it quite obvious.

"I don't know why they made me your roommate but if you step out of line I would deal with you." Diana Palmer, Ivy's fifth roommate in a row and bitch extraordinaire' stated. But she didn't blame her, all Elfs were bitches.

She knew that the words out of Diana's were just words with absolutely no promise of action behind them. Ivy could perfectly hear Diana's heart. She could hear the way it stuttered every time she even breathe in her direction. They were all scared of her. The whole school. Though they tried to hide it, they'd forgotten she could smell fear. Or they probably didn't know her well enough to know that she did.

After killing four roommates in a row by mistake, she thought they would finally know to give her her own room. But they said they wanted her to learn to coexist with them. The Council were f*cking stupid. How darkness was going to coexist in the midst of other creatures she had absolutely no idea.

Ahhh, there was it again. The smell of fear. It was definitely coming from her roommate. The inner demon in her craved it. Fed on it. Loved it. The fear from others made it stronger. Strong enough to take control from her, even if it was just a short period, it was enough to kill whosoever in it's path.

If Diana wasn't careful, she was going to die this night.

I didn't want this, anyone could've told you. My brother, Asia, my brother's girlfriend Miria. They all could've told you just how much I didn't want this. I just wanted to go back home, I was perfectly fine living in secret, hiding away underground, staying out fo as much trouble as possible. Even though Alex, Michael, and Asia made enough trouble for all of us. And even more so after Alex and Asia's bad break up. So yeah, I was fine with it all. But now... Everything was different. I had, a, huge, home. I had to learn what it was being an indigo. Had to study my so called people, my so called race of indigo. And what happens? Brooklyn does eventually come to me, does eventually tell me some prophecy that tells me to do something, and I apparently can't refuse. If I do, well, then apparently my so called kin could die. The name is Qassianne, but, never, NEVER, fucking call me that. It's Qassie, learn the name, live the name, love the name. I've been on the run with my twin brother for almost six months since they came out with that new law and everything has been steadily going down hill for us. I'm fine though, loving the wildlife, quite literally. I'm enjoying living with my brother in the forest trying to make our way to Washington D.C. although he thinks we should be traveling through the city more. And, I'm like, no. Two vastly different worlds, yet both souls of fire, yet both connected more than they realize, yet both have a story to tell. Prepare yourselves, because when a Phoenix of old, meets a Kitsune of old, their world will turn into puissant flames. Yet only together, can they become Fierce Of Flames.
