Karci Sadona is an orphan left by her parents, who she doesn't know, but she is also a Shadow Hunter, someone who catches shadow people, and sometimes gets into situations bigger than she can handle. She ends up in the Heart of the Shadow Realm, which is a realm beneath their own world full of shadow people with minds of their own and ruled by Queen Diandra.
Queen Diandra and her son, Prince Asher, want to rid the world of Karci because she is the last of her kind and kills her people, but does her son have the same opinion? Will Karci get back and does Prince Asher love Karci?
This isn't your ordinary superhero story, oh it's not. Hero's falling for villains, Princes falling for wanted hunters, and one Queen set out to destroy the last Shadow Hunter of them all!
