Jamie Ella Trent had led a simple life. She started out in life simple and she ended her life simple. Or so she thought she did. Her life clearly hadn't ended when she thought it did.. She was the daughter of a banker and his shopkeeper wife. She went to school, then college, majored in advertising and joined a firm as quick as you could say 'jam on toast'. She lived the rest of her life in the solitude and peace that came without marriage and children. Her only company were her droopy dog, cunning cat and sprightly young neighbor. 2018 - Jamie is 66. Quite excited with the developments in her social life with a book club, snooker club and poker party 'gang-mas' (what they call themselves) she is living her life. But it all takes a sudden and swift turn, and she doesn't know if that turn is left, right or wrong. An ex-not-so-boyfriend, a crashed car and a piano in a tree are only a part of the whirling roller coaster ride her straightforward life has taken. Everything eventually has it's effect in the circle of life... Would these moments of her life show Jamie that it doesn't matter how far you think you are in life, it's never done..? That it's like the clouds that are always moving in a sky full of endless opportunities?
