Youthful Wishes
High school is the period of your life where you feel older and independent. It's also the time where you're restricted and forced into a slim expectation by standards and norms. High school is the last bit of youth you have before you are let loose into the sticky web of life. Within your last years of schooling, your habits and behaviors are what determine if you are a fly or a spider (at least that's what some people say). Clare Carter and her new group of friends are kicking off the school year in a powerful way as they battle new conflicts and the process of becoming high school students and young adults. Each character has their own unique story and background that will represent how they take each situation that comes up. They must tackle drama that takes place at school and home, as well as survive the activities that Freshman get to experience (homecoming, clubs, heartbreaks/relationships, the stress of doing well in school and figuring out a plan after they graduate). This group of friends are scheduled for a wave of realization if they think they'll stick together throughout all four years of high school. This story is created with my OCs that I have fun drawing. This is not an attempt to be a grand author or writer. I am merely using this opportunity as experience for fleshing out my characters and their personalities and backgrounds. Will the craziness of teenage life get in the way or will one shake be all it takes? *AUTHOR'S NOTE* I just wanted to say that I'm sorry to anyone who was waiting for me to take this story further. I feel like I hit a bit of a brick wall. I love this story, it was the first time I started writing for me and not for school. I was getting some major writer's block when it came to this story which felt weird because the creative juices had been flowing up to this point. I love this story and the characters and I finally realised that any writing I tried to force out would be really bad quality and that it could ruin the story. I do realise that this is very frustrating; I would be annoyed if someone did it to me. But I really think that in this case, less is more. I may come back to this story one day, but I make no promises. I feel like my time with Liam and Saskia has come to an end. They can enjoy their summer in peace!
