At the start of a new school year for four girls in the big city of New York, an assignment is given to them. Each one has to film another's life for a day or two. First, you have Raine who has loving parents, but an abusive brother. Then you have Angel, the happy girl that lives with her mom. And then you have the two sisters Kourtney and Shianne. Shianne is one year older than Kourtney, and their parents died. In the process of the filming assignment, one person finds something out about someone else and it creates one huge problem for the four girls. They each struggle day by day to make amends and help one friend in particular to stay strong and not fade away. Given that these four girls are now friends, they look out for each other. But sometimes, there are things you can't control, but others... The things you CAN control, you have to be smart. And in this book, you learn how to stick together as friends and try to make everyone better and not turn your back.
