The Deserts of Stygia have been known to hide many secrets under its sands for they have witnessed much and been there even after everything withered. There in the Deserts stands a Pyramid built entirely of Black Marble, or what seems to be Black Marble, the Pyramid has no doorways, nor are there any stories about it, only that it is the tomb of a Great Ancient...built during the time of the Ivory Kings...or was it gifted from them to him? Even these stories lack coherence. Except for one bit...the name; Akhmenukep.

From the Time of Acheron, to Cimmeria the birthplace of the descendants of the Atlanteans forged by adversity, to the Sands of Stygia and the lands south of the Styx, the Jungles of Kush, the Scarlet pylons of the land beyond the Wall in the East, and the Western Green hills of Aquilonia, We follow the Story of an Ancient soul. conspiracies, Shadows behind different thrones & Darkest of Sorceries...If you wondered what Conan's world would look like from the Sorcerer's point of View....This is the story for you.

Disclaimer: This story is set in the Hyborian Age, a World Created by Robert E. Howard and expanded upon by others...some characters & names are from that setting. And I by no way own those. Nor do I own the Artwork used, if any is used, that is.

😈😈the Beginning of aetheria 😈👿 by Austen010
10 parts Ongoing
Prologue: The Beginning of Aetheria Long before time as we know it, the cosmos trembled under the weight of the Celestial War-a conflict so devastating it consumed entire worlds. In the aftermath of this chaos, a sanctuary was forged by the surviving celestial beings: Aetheria, a realm of boundless magic, mystery, and power. Created as a haven, Aetheria became a world of unparalleled beauty, inhabited by diverse races: the ethereal Elvari, the mighty Drakenkin, and the cunning Umbrians, among others. Each brought their strengths and secrets to this realm, weaving its intricate tapestry. But peace was fleeting. The Void, a remnant of the Celestial War, seeped into Aetheria, corrupting its heart. To combat this, the ancient guardians forged powerful Shards of Light, fragments capable of sealing the Void's influence. Yet, over millennia, the shards were scattered, their power waning as darkness grew. Prophecy whispered of a being-a descendant of Adam, forbidden in this realm-who would wield the shards and either restore balance or bring ruin. For Aetheria's denizens, humanity was both hope and doom, their mere presence a threat to the realm's fragile existence. Now, as darkness encroaches once more, the stage is set. A nameless human emerges, lost and unknowing, drawn into a destiny shaped by ancient powers and unyielding prophecy. The question lingers: Will he save Aetheria-or be its undoing? Thus begins the tale of the beginning of Aetheria, where fate and free will collide in a battle for the soul of a world.

Enter a fantasy world where two opposing gods remain trapped in another dimension, they exist outside the normal timelines of mortal men and are forced to spend their days in an eternal prison for a long forgotten crime. Only a mortal may travel back and forth between the two rifts that connect the god’s worlds and time. Two sects have monopolised access into these rifts, learning that with the control of the rifts comes a great power. An order of warriors and a brotherhood of magicians use them as their training grounds where men can train in their art to the extreme for years, unaffected by time; they can even die inside the rift, returning to life when their body is ejected back out to their world. Think, “Entering a world like ‘Groundhog Day’ but with magic and swords, where you can learn from your mistakes over an infinite time, returning from the gods rifts with superhuman ability.” With their unbeatable talents and finely honed abilities both sects have the world in the palm of their hands, but the magicians want more. Powerful new crystals are discovered in the mines and the brotherhood of magician’s instigate a war to control this valuable resource that can bend the order of warriors to their will, ensuring total control and perhaps even the power to free their god. Discovering that a young lady, Athene, had been conceived inside the war god’s rift the magicians stumble upon her ability - a natural resistance to magic and their hunt for her begins; believing that she has the ability to neutralise the magic that holds their god. As nations fall, a small underground movement lead by a renegade magician work against this threat, aiding Athene to escape the magicians grasp. Helped by, a warrior, a king and a thief they evade the magician’s attempts to capture her, but when the magicians finally resort to unleashing an ancient killer from a forgotten time to track her down, the odds are stacked against her
