The Avengers are a team, yes.
They work together, they suit up and they fight the bad guys, but they all care about each other; they wouldn't have been so successful if they didn't.
So sure, they're a band of super humans, aliens, and specialized assassins, but they're also a great big dysfunctional family, and they have interactions just like every other one.

Side parts to All Those Left Alone - A Marvel Story. You don't necessarily have to read it to understand these, though some chapters may contain references to previous happenings. One thing you need to know before entering this story is that the majority of the MCU heroes are in this one, including the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor and Loki, and the Wakandans. That's a plot piece from ATLA, but when I refer to the Avengers I refer to the entirety of the team.

Despite their best efforts to regain the trust of the world, the Avengers are still met with criticism. With every move they make under close scrutiny, they find themselves treading lightly to avoid more incidents akin to Ultron and the tragedy of Sokovia. When a new team of superheroes is entangled in disaster and an Avengers mission goes wrong, the government steps in with new legislation that would force all superheroes to register, and be overseen, by the government. Eager to right the wrongs of his past, Tony Stark is quick to join the government's efforts, believing that oversight will ensure that more disasters do not happen at the hands of the Avengers or any other super-powered individuals. In opposition of this is Steve Rogers, who believes that government oversight would enable politicians to decide who the villains are, forcing superheroes to become nothing more than political pawns. When the King of Wakanda is assassinated and Steve's old friend turned enemy, Winter Soldier, is implicated things become even more complicated. Forced to choose a side in a civil war, Dean Allen can't stop thinking about a far greater threat that lurks. Please note that this is an installment in an ongoing series. Reading out of order may cause confusion. The reading order for the series is: -Worthy -Avengers: Some Assembly Required -Love You to Asgard and Back -Eternal Night -Avengers: Peace in Our Time -Avengers: More Than a Mortal -Fantastic Four -Avengers: Divided We Fall -Asgardian Twilight -Avengers: Destiny Arrives -Captain America: Love in a Time of Loss -Avengers: Whatever It Takes -Avengers: A Wedding At Last -Avengers: Vengeance -Avengers: A Darker Shade of Scarlet

Remember Me?

27 parts Complete

(Book one) When Anna Smith enrolled in the army, she was best friends with Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers. She left them to follow a dream of becoming an agent. But when both died, she made the decision to become the next super soldier. Years pass as she established herself as the Director of SHIELD and remade the intelligence community in her image. Now that she finds out Steve is alive she wonders if he will remember her. Will they be the same, or will their friendship change? Not only has SHIELD slowly become something Anna doesn't recognize, she has to deal with the attack on New York too. I do not own any of the Marvel characters. I did go along with some of the movies. I do have my own characters in the story. 2nd Book- Don't Forget Me 3rd Book- Don't Lose Sight Of Me
